    Scope of work
    Upton Lane comprises ground-3^rd floors and includes a new sports hall.
    The preferred structure type is a concrete flat slab structure with internal columns on a generic grid layout to optimise future flexibility.
    The concrete frame was preferred as it offered programme advantages and better thermal mass performance, along with the ability to lose the columns in the cladding thickness.
    A steel framed sports hall forms part of the Upton Lane site.
